New Hampshire, Manchester mission

April 23, 2018
As you all know, I've been called to serve as a missionary of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the New Hampshire, Manchester mission spanish speaking! My mom is going to be updating this blog with my weekly emails and pictures!

I was thinking the other day....and I remembered I had a blog! It's been three years since I have posted anything. I am now approaching Senior year and can say with confidence that I am a different person than I was even a year ago, and I am happy with my life. Senior year seems so tedious and a little intimidating, but I'm just going to meet everything that comes with confidence and faith. I am excited for this year and the many opportunities, experiences, and friendships I will have. My cousins will be by my side as well, so that is definitely a bonus. I am taking CNA college classes through the NAVIT program, and although it will be much more work and responsibility than High School, it is an opportunity that I will regret not taking advantage of. I feel that it will help me progress to getting a job in the medical field. I am planning on serving an LDS mission when I am nineteen, and I hope to go to BYU Idaho someday. While there are many things about my future that I am not sure of, I am finally getting a glimpse of what it could be like, and I am enthusiastic about the many adventures ahead.

Youth Trip

I got to go to the valley with all the youth and go to the Gilbert temple open house. It was so much fun and the temple was beautiful! It was huge, and could be seen from miles away! I was so excited as I came closer to going inside, and as soon as I entered, I felt the spirit. Everything about it was beautiful, the carpet, walls, paintings, furniture, and the smallest details. There were a lot of stairs that led to different parts of the temple. The baptismal font was so pretty, and I would love to do baptisms for the dead there! The celestial room was my favorite because it was heavenly and white, and had a huge crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling. The next day I gave a talk in sacrament meeting about my experience.I love temples so much, and I'm so glad that we can receive so many blessings from going to the temple. I didn't take any pictures, but next week I'm going to the open house again with my family and will post pictures.

Where'd the Time Go?

Time has gone by so fast! I haven't done anything on this blog for a while, and time has flown right by! I'm going to be a freshman in at Snowflake High School, and I can't believe it! The summer has gone by so fast, and school is here! During the summer I got to spend lots of time with extended family. The 4th and 24th of July were my favorite times. Well, I will try to keep this updated as much as I can! High School here I come!
